Posted On: April 3, 2020 by East River Plaza in: Covid-19 General Store Closures
With so many changes and disruptions to our daily routines due to COVID-19, East River Plaza continues to serve our strong and resilient community in a safe and smart way.
East River Plaza’s doors are still open to those in need of groceries and other essential items at Aldi, Target, and Costco. All other stores are closed until further notice.
While we navigate this new reality, the safety of our customers, tenants and staff is of the utmost importance. We are following the appropriate protocols issued by leading national health agencies and taking the necessary steps to ensure everyone’s protection, including:
- Dedicated cleaning staff who clean high-touch areas and the security office hourly
- Scheduled hourly cleanings for elevators, stairs, and escalators frequently used by customers shopping at Target, Aldi, and Costco
- Additional security to help maintain “social-distancing” guidelines
- Floor markings to ensure shoppers remain 6 feet apart at all times
- Designated lines at checkout to reduce congestion and limit person-to-person interaction
- Staff person available on-site each week to assess next steps

While this is a challenging time, we will get through it together. We look forward to greeting you when we can all return to our normal daily routines. Until then, please stay safe and healthy. East River Plaza sends our love and support to you and your loved ones.
